Cultivating Community, Growing Food, Empowering Lives
Carnwath Community Farming, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Wappingers Falls, NY, cultivates community through growing, learning, and giving back. Within the nearly 100-acre Carnwath Farms Historic Site & Park overlooking the Hudson River, we manage 10 acres for the community. We offer garden plots, grow produce and flowers for donation, and host workshops and gatherings that educate, inspire, and connect people. Volunteers and supporters are welcome—together, we grow a stronger, more sustainable community. From one overgrown acre to a thriving community space—see what we’ve built on our Events page and enjoy the photos and special moments. Slow and steady we're planting the seeds for a sustainable project for all! We hope you will get involved too.

Volunteer
If you don’t need your own garden plot but want to help grow food for the community, consider volunteering with our larger farm project! We currently cultivate 2 acres—with a total of 10 acres available to grow on—and always welcome helping hands. Complete the “Contact Us” form and note that you’d like to volunteer. You’ll meet wonderful people and enjoy our beautiful parkland overlooking the Hudson River.
