Meet the Kolb Family

Hello! We are the Kolb Family; Brian, Courtney, Olive, and Jack. We are thrilled to take on this community project connecting with our neighbors in the fields and in the town. 

 

A snapshot as of of June 2024:

  • 10 community plots at Carnwath Community Farming Visit our garden plot page here.

  • Seed Library at Grinnell Library

  • Tiny Library at Carnwath Community Farming full of resource books and nature books

  • We grow strawberries, garlic, lavender, flowers, potato, onion, squash, corn, pumpkins, other berries. We sell these at our roadside farm shack to help support the farm project. Email us for exact address. We also donate a portion of these to our local pantry through Fareground.  carnwathcommunityfarming@gmail.com

  • Events including a re-meadow project, an annual seed swap, educational collaborations and more. Please email us if you are interested.
