Meet Our Goat Crew!
Our newest farm team members each have their own unique personalities. Frank (Franklin) is a Nigerian Dwarf with one great passion in life—eating! Whether it's grazing, exploring, or enjoying a snack, Frank is happiest when he has something to munch on. Honey, an Oberhasli, is as sweet as her name suggests. She is quiet, gentle, and always happily snacking (often while finding a peaceful place away from her brothers). Reggie (Reginald), a Toggenburg, loves meeting visitors and proudly goes about his work as part of our conservation grazing team. He’s a true people-goat with a big personality and a friendly spirit. Together, Frank, Honey, and Reggie are helping us naturally clear brush, improve the landscape, and care for our park in a sustainable way.

A Sustainable Solution
Goat grazing is an eco-friendly way to care for our park while improving the health of the land. We worked closely with local organizations who have proven success grazing goats.
They Eat the “Unwanted” Plants
Goats love to munch on many types of brush, vines, and invasive plants that have taken over natural areas. There isn't much they won't eat.
Helping Our Park Thrive
By clearing dense vegetation, our goats help open up areas, support healthier habitats, and improve the landscape. Soon we will see mature trees that have long been blocked by poison ivy and vines.
Every Goat Has a Personality
